Apparently these ads are plastered all over my campus. …Really?
My photography teacher used this poster as an example of “women as objects”. In fact, the one he used was one of the ones that angry people had written on; someone had scrawled ” WOMEN ARE NOT OBJECTS” on the poster in black marker.
The prof was a feminist, which was pretty awesome. We spent an inordinate amount of time talking about preconceived gender notions, considering it was a photography class.
